Daniel Johnston has joined the likes of T-Pain and Soulja Boy: The troubadour had gotten his own iPhone app. The app takes the form of a platforming puzzle game that has been described by the New York Times as "a kind of psycho-religious version of Frogger," which is about as awesome a game description can get. There's a trailer above for the game. Also of note is that Johnston himself doesn't even own a phone, so he won't be playing the game.
Johnston's newest album, Is and Always Was, is due out on Oct 6 via Eternal Yip Eye Music. [NY Times via Pitchfork]
