Danger Mouse And Daniele Luppi Preview Two Tracks From 'Rome'

The official release date for Danger Mouse’s collaboration with Italian composer Daniele Luppi is still over a month away—Rome will be released on May 17. But, for now, here’s a preview of what to expect from that record, as Parlophone has released the track “Two Against One” with Jack White on vocals and the Norah Jones-fronted “Black”. You’ll be able to pick these tracks up on Record Store Day, but the label is no doubt taking any plans to leak the songs into their own hands by making them available in this way. Both tracks suggest a downbeat tone to the album, with a definite hint of Serge Gainsbourg's classic Melody Nelson on the Jones song. Check the two tracks out above and below.
