D'Angelo To Play 2012 BET Awards
BET has just announced that D'Angelo will be performing at their 2012 BET Awards on July 1 alongside G.O.O.D. Music, Usher, 2 Chainz, and Nicki Minaj. Despite all of the YouTube clips circulating of D'Angelo's comeback performances at Bonnaroo and across Europe, the awards show is now his first (non-surprise) scheduled US performance, and his first televised performance in over 10 years.
