D’Angelo Is Still Actively Working On A New Album (Video)

    Three short teaser clips appeared today showing the neo soul master D’Angelo at work on his third studio album, accompanied by legendary bass player Pino Palladino. The clips were shared by producer Russell “The Dragon” Elevado, which confirms his involvement in the project.

    D’Angelo’s upcoming LP, his first one since 2000’s Voodoo, was originally expected early last year after the Roots’ drummer Questlove (who’s admitted to be featured on the album) maintained that the record was “99% done.” Following  sudden tour-date cancellations last year and a long period of silence from the ’90s R&B icon, the clips come as great news for those anticipating new music from D’Angelo, which is basically every pop music head out there.
