There's a great possibility I'm writing this post simply to type a name out. The name? Danbert Nobacon. You read it right. Danbert Nobacon. Who he? A founding member of Chumbawamba. Now before you go tubthumping on to the next website because you could care less about anything having to do with that band, you might be interested to know Nobacon created his new album with some interesting compatriots. Backing Nobacon on Library Book of the World, his second solo album (a short twenty-two years after his first) are the Pine Valley Cosmonauts. They of course are a side project led by Jon Langford, of Mekons fame, that also includes Alan Doughty, who also plays with Langford in the Waco Brothers and was in Jesus Jones. Library opens its doors August 14 via Bloodshot.
