Dan Deacon took a break from recording more traditional music over the past year to focus on his score for Francis Ford Coppola's new film, Twixt. But now that everything's wrapped up surrounding the movie, Deacon has chosen to return to the studio to work on a proper new album. And he'll be doing it for the folks at Domino, who today announced their signing of the experimental Baltimore native. We don't have a name for the album or set release date, but we should be hearing a follow-up to 2009's acclaimed Bromst at some point in 2012.
