Dan Deacon live in Brooklyn with 14-piece ensemble (Video)

Pitchfork TV is airing live footage from Dan Deacon's performance of Bromst with a 14-piece ensemble that included members of Ponytail and other bands. The video above is for "Snookered" and the song is more emotional and totemic than anything Deacon has done. Some of that may be due to the size of the proceedings, but the song itself is less sugar-rushed than Deacon's other songs. Deacon's voice still sounds like a Chipmunk, however.

Below is a clips for "Surprise Stefani" a track that, unsurprisingly, doesn't sound a thing like its namesake. Pitchfork TV is promising more clips tomorrow. [Pitchfork]

Totally Bromst-ed right now. Coining that phrase by the way... He told me he joked that it was a prehistoric shark when Spin asked him about the album title.
