Dan Deacon in Studio Talking Bromst (Video)

     

    Dan Deacon’s Bromst is one of this year’s early surprises–it adds lush layers and more expansive sound to Deacon’s sugar-fueled rushes on his last effort, Spiderman of the Rings. Pitchfork TV has two videos of Deacon working on the album in Montana, talking about the creative and recording process and why he likes being in Montana, and going on a tour of the pretty cool studio a friend of his made in a giant house in the mountains.  Part one is above, and part two is below.
