Dan Auerbach To Produce New Hanni El Khatib Album

Hot on the heels of producing Dr. John's successful comeback album, Black Keys' Dan Auerbach isn't going to just spend all his time conquering stadiums with the his band: He's been announced as the producer on the sophomore album from garage rock shit-starter Hanni El Khatib. Khatib's old-school riffage dovetails nicely with Auerbach's usual sound, so the pairing makes total sense. It's due out later this year. [Billboard]
