Yes, that lineup sounds like the cast for some multi-national art film (something Merchant Ivory would do, certainly). But no, what it is is a bunch of music-making friends getting together to spread lovely noise throughout this fair land of ours. We reported a couple of days ago that the three acts will appear together at The Wire's Adventures in Modern Music Festival at Chicago's Empty Bottle in September. Now the groups have announced they will branch out together from there. Only two more dates are known out now, with more expected to be announced soon.
