Last night's Dim Mak Tuesdays at L.A.'s Cinespace was also a birthday party of sorts for Pedro Winter, a.k.a. Busy P, head of the Ed Banger label and former manager of Daft Punk. Accordingly a bunch of electro luminaries showed up, like SebastiAn, SoMe, Kavinsky, and Gaspard Augé, but the brightest of them all was probably a helmet-less Thomas Bangalter, french house champion and 50 percent of Daft Punk. Bangalter played a fairly brief three-song set, dropping Daft Punk's "Rollin' and Scratchin'," his track with DJ Mehdi "Signatune," and ending with Prince's "Raspberry Beret."At this time, videos of the event have been made private on Youtube, so you'll have to make do with the picture above and a little bit of imagination.

We were joking about where to take our out-of-town friends last night, and cracked up at the mere thought of taking them to Cinespace.
