“Take Me Over,” the first single off Cut Copy's forthcoming Zonoscope, is a relatively mellow tune that still makes great use of those New Pop/Romantic influences present on the band’s previous album, In Ghost Colours. With a bass line highly reminiscent of '80s Fleetwood Mac and big, sunny synth chords washing over Dan Whitford’s vocals, "Take Me Over" threatens to make us pine for the halcyon days of summer.
