Curren$y & The Alchemist Dropping 'Re-Coversionalize' April 20, 2012
The stoned rap duo of Curren$y and the Alchemist dropped one of the year's finest free projects this past April 20 (of course) with the Covert Coup EP. Since then, they have both been teasing a sequel to that project on their respective Twitter accounts. Be it through subliminal tweets of being in the studio or messages directed at each other, the possibility of another EP from these guys seemed likely.
And now, the likelihood has gone from probable to definite as the Alchemistannounced that the follow-up, Re-Coversionalize, is set to drop on April 20, 2012. While it certainly sucks that we have to wait so long, this will at least give us time to properly digest the slew of projects Spitta has dropped this year. Also, it's not like dude's not going to drop a new album, mixtape, or EP in the meantime.
