Yesterday it was Broken Social Scene doing what they can to sell Cadbury Chocolates, today its 8-bit provocateurs Crystal Castles shilling for Toshiba TVs and computers. The ad is being touted as the world’s first time sculpture commercial, and that’s apparently why those dudes are doing push-ups for the whole thing—they’re performance art!

The skittered nature of the Crystal Casltes song (“Air War”) is actually a pretty great fit for the ad—it sounds technological, and the ad is about how sweet Toshiba's new screens are. [Stereogum]
