Johnny Marr squeezes into Crowded House
Wow, that Johnny Marr is suddenly everywhere these days. Joining Modest Mouse. Designing sneakers. Next up for Marr: guesting on the first new Crowded House album in over a decade. To be entitled Time on Earth, it's slated for release in North America July 10 via ATO. Marr reportedly plays guitar on two tracks. Production on the album was handled by Steve Lillywhite and Ethan Johns. Head Crowded Houser Neil Finn co-wrote the song "Silent House" with the Dixie Chicks, who performed a version of the song on their multiple-Grammy winner from last year, Taking the Long Way.
