Humor website Cracked has a music-related list detailing the 6 most insane tales of rock star behavior. Their pick for number one is a surprising one: Phil Spector kidnapping the Ramones during the recording of End of the Century.
That’s a pretty strange pick, considering I could name six things Spector has done that are crazier than that (his hairdo pictured here, putting a gun to Leonard Cohen’s head, shooting at John Lennon, killing his girlfriend, locking Ronnie Spector in the house for weeks on end, and contributing to the Beatles break up during the recording of Let It Be), but some of the other picks are as equally strange: Serge Gainsbourg singing about incest with his daughter at number three, and Sinead O’Connor fighting Prince at number six.
At least there aren’t any random British picks like Gigwise lists (Muse play guitars that are drop-tuned! would probably figure at around number three here otherwise). [Cracked]
