Courtney Love Settles Legal Dispute With Landlord

Courtney Love has settled her legal battle with landlord Donna Lyons. We reported on this a couple times last month, but here's a brief recap: rumor spread that Love would be evicted from her $8 million New York home on payment and property damage allegations, and the Hole frontwoman refuted all claims; she admitted that she did repaint, but had permission from Lyons and used an approved painter for the work. Lyons, the property owner, also accused Love of being behind on rent payments. But she, apparently, was keeping track according to an old schedule, rather than the newer deal she and Love had struck before moving in. While the alleged property damage hasn't been fully examined by the court yet, rest assured that Courtney Love is responsible and is paying her rent on time. [NME]
