Courtney Love Says Mariah Carey Almost Appeared On Nobody's Daughter

Though Hole fans will definitely never hear the whole band together again and they might never get to listen to Nobody's Daughter, one thing nobody will ever have the fortune to experience is Mariah Carey's cameo on the album. Courtney Love says that she was looking for a singer to cameo on the record's first song, and struck out with everybody from Billy Corgan to Gerard Way. She then went over to Brett Ratner's house for inspiration, because who wouldn't, really, if they had the chance? She told her problem to the director, and heard Carey, who was just hanging out there, say she'd fill the bill. The reason this collaboration doesn't exist?
