Courtney Love has been through a torrid time of late, which was capped off by her enforced separation from her daughter, Frances Bean, in the dying months of 2009. In June last year, Love announced she was reforming her seminal grunge band, Hole, albeit with herself as the only original member.
It has been unclear who is in Hole at present, but now the lineup has been confirmed as Love, Micko Larkin on guitar, Shawn Dailey on bass and Stu Fischer on drums. The band’s forthcoming album, Nobody’s Daughter, is due sometime in the early part of this year, and an official bare bones website for the record launched on Jan. 1.
The release date for Nobody’s Daughter has been changed almost as many times as Lil Wayne’s Rebirth, but Love has now announced a Hole live date, suggesting it may be closer to seeing the light of day than anticipated. The only show so far is on Feb. 17 at the Shepherds Bush Empire in London, but other dates will surely be added soon.
