Courtney Love and Billy Corgan in spat over Frances Bean's Sweet 16

Hey, it's a Frances Bean sighting! The daughter of late Nirvana guitarist Kurt Cobain and legendary interloper Courtney Love is having her Sweet 16 next month (how does time fly?), and her mom was pissed that one of their old friends won't be showing up: the Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan.

Apparently, when Corgan moved to LA in 2006 right after The Future Embrace, he became rather close to the young Ms. Cobain. Now however, there seems to have been some bad blood, which has resulted in an angry post on an online forum about the Pumpkin:

A sweet sixteen is a big event and I think she looked upon you as family. I know she did, as a trustworthy and wise (child), and you can't lay your shit on a child of nine, and you as a man of 40 - my child sobbing, due to you, is unacceptable. I hate stating this on some random public forum, but the line is the kid, man."

Oh Billy, making Frances Bean cry is a big no no; she's had enough to deal with in her lifetime. Even Courtney and Nirvana fans can agree on that. As previously reported, The Smashing Pumpkins will be on their 20th anniversary tour, and while only one date has been confirmed so far, it seems there will be no appearances in Los Angeles around August 18. Either that, or Corgan is just a big jerk.

I'd cry if Billy Corgan showed up at my birthday. No, not cry... kill, that's the word.
Corgan didn't have to suck after the original Pumpkins split. He chose to.

If I was a kid I think I'd find Billy Corgan pretty creepy.

Even if Courtney Love was already your mom? How more strange can you get than her?

Pffft. So what? He can't make it to your sweet 16. It's not the end of the world.

Hell, 16 isn't even that great of an age. 21.....now THAT's more fun.

Grow up, Frances Bean. People have lives and, in this case, Corgan has tour commitments.

Yeah right Courtney, as if you have never done "sh*t" to make your daughter cry. Air your dirty laundry somewhere else.
