Pop quiz: where were both Courtney Love and Foxy Brown on Monday? Not in a studio working on new material. Not on stage belting out tunes. Nope, both found themselves in court dealing with recent legal issues. Love definitely had the better day. As only a famous person can seem to accomplish, she had three charges against her dismissed, two involving drugs and another concerncing an assault on another musician. The judge handling this mess said, "You are interested in a much less destructive lifestyle." She does sit on a bench on the planet earth, right?
Brown, nee Inga Marchand, was in court for similar probation violation charges, stemming from a fracas in a nail salon a couple of years ago. Now she's being accused of flaunting the terms of her probation by refusing to be drug tested and other non-compliant behavior. Another court session will occur soon to follow up on the developments.
