We previously reported on a bus crash involving Mr. Lif and The Coup. Boots has updated his MySpace page to go over the crash in detail:

We lost everything in that crash and fire. We were packed to live and do shows on that bus for a month. Most of us had every stitch of clothing we owned on there. We lost clothes, computers, recording equipment, cameras, IDs, phones, keys to cars and homes. We lost cash.We lost all our damn instruments and equipment to perform with.

He's also set up a Paypal link to a fund that will pay out to all the members of The Coup (including the touring band). There's a lot of folks asking for your money during these holidays, but if you've enjoyed The Coup stressing political themes over hip-hop materialism, you might consider a donation.
