Corin Tucker Returns With New Album, Tour

Ex-Sleater-Kinney frontwoman Corin Tucker will release her second solo album on September 18 via Kill Rock Stars. Titled Kill My Blues, the record was written with the help of Tucker's band, which includes members of Unwound, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, and the Golden Bears. It's Tucker's first album since 2010's "middle-aged mom project" 1,000 Years; according to a press release, Kill My Blues is a return to "her riot grrrl sonic roots."
