Last we heard from this barely-even-trying-to-be-subtle marketing ploy of a series, Kud Cudi was leading some cameramen through his hometown of Cleveland. In this installment, Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij traipses through Brooklyn (in slow motion, no less) while talking about how New York City is a pretty awesome place to hear music. The video starts off with a sort of Quiet City-vibe (i.e. gorgeously shot images of NYC soundtracked by plinking piano) before Rostam starts talking about just where that creativity of his came from. As obvious as this campaign has been, though, it's done its job--I'm genuinely looking forward to this Kid Cudi-Best Coast-Rostam collab.
