Conan O'Brien Kicks Off Comedy Tour, Covers Radiohead's "Creep"

On Conan O'Brien's last episode of The Tonight Show, Conan grabbed an axe and riffed with a plethora of amazing musicians through Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird," as Will Ferrell did his best drunken Van Zant over it. It was great. In Eugene, Ore. on the opening night of his "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television" tour, O'Brien proved that he has more in the musical comedy tank, as he and his band sound checked for the crowd with an amusing cover of Radiohead's "Creep," where O'Brien affects a cockney accent and warbles more than an opera singer on that falsetto bridge. I am absolutely stunned that this amazing tool has been left out of O'Brien's comedy arsenal for so long. TBS, set things straight on this front, please. [Stereogum]
