Another case of The Man keeping the Little Guy down! Antares, the creator of everyone's favorite $3 iPhone application "I Am T-Pain," which enables you to sound like you're singing backup vocals on "I'm On a Boat," recently sent some lawyers down to talk to Steamboat Mountain Designs, who had their own competing application called "AutoTuner." Before you could make a Kleenex/Tissue Paper argument, Steamboat was forced to relent, knowing they wouldn't be able to afford the legal fees. You can still grab Steamboat's version of the application under its new name "Robotuner." Its primary benefit is that you don't have to see T-Pain's face every time you load it. [Digital Music News]
