Last month, Commonrevealed that he has plans to release a joint album with Nas and the hip-hop world lost its collective mind. Rightfully so, of course, because these are obviously two of the genre's finest lyricists. In addition to that, they also sounded fantastic together on "Ghetto Dreams." And to further build the hype for the collaborative album, Com spoke on the project in a recent interview.
He explained that it actually started out as a mixtape called Nas.Com, but they decided they wanted to release it as a proper album. When we'll actually be hearing it remains up in the air, though the Chicago rapper noted that they will begin work on it after they release their respective upcoming albums. Speaking of which, Com also discussed his new record,The Dreamer, The Believer, and why he chose to work solely with producer No I.D. Man, after watching the interview below, our anticipation for the album only continues to grow. Nov. 15 can't get here soon enough. [2DopeBoyz]
