Track Review: Common - "The People" feat. Dwele (prod. Kanye West)

I like it. I really like it. In fact, when I first heard "The People" I was filled with memories of summer, which made me drop everything I was doing and wish summer was here already. The track is uptempo but laid back; the synths are warm but the song remains cool. And Common drops line after line of goodness that eases my fear of his decline. It is impossible not to love a line like "The people/Said that I was sharp on TV/At the Grammys/Yo they tried to India.Arie me/Got backstage and bumped into Stevie/He said no matter what/The people gon' see me."
I'm hoping once July 10 rolls around, there will be more of this.

awesome. dare i say this is better than anything on Be? I dare.kanye recycling that vocal sample from wouldnt get far didn't really bother me considering how different the whole thing was. really amazing, from both of them.

hey im kinda new to this genre with common and kayne west.. but i've been listening to both lately and i fell in love with the music... they need to have a concert with only them both.. nobody else.. if there is.. let me know. cuz im a big fan of both of them.. big time.. they have these beats that go together... its awesome
