College Kids Gone Wild
September doldrums are typically marked by the Bataan march back to school. Memories of fine summer breezes are quickly replaced with the realization of summer reading. Be it impossibly long bibliographies and/or impossibly long hours in the lab, academic demands loom over the student's head with a presence as welcome as circling vultures. Sure, there is the excitement of new outfits, friends and knowledge... which is usually tempered by the spiralling FAFSA loans, awkward ice breakers and the simple fact that you're in school.
Behold, Class of 2007, help is on the way: guest lecturers Dante Ross and Prince Paul have teamed up this semester to offer Beatlab, a touring seminar on beatmaking. Peep the infomercial above and be reminded of why learning is cool, leer es poder, etc. Besides: if Miho and Ricky can do it, so can you! (Film students, please note that Hanso Foundation cinematic eye)
Dig it? Beatlab is in search of a college near you, so hit up Mass Appeal for a chance to get the in.
