Those who thought Coldplay's dedication to institutional rebellion was limited to their current French Revolutionary fashion motif or to the cover design of Viva La Vida should think again. The fans who are able to catch Coldplay on their upcoming summer tour of North America will be given a disc with an entire album’s worth of live Coldplay performances for free at the door of the venue. Chris Martin told British newspaper The Sun that the move was made in response to the economic troubles the United States is experiencing in the hopes of giving fans the most bang for their concert buck as possible, but whether the live disc will be released to stores at a later date or can look forward to finding its permanent home on torrent servers is not known at this time.
