People that like Coldplay are the least likely of music fans to put out on the first date – at least, that’s the conclusion of dating site Tastebuds.fm. While I’m hesitant to call it a study – which implies university involvement and Ph.D.s in lab coats – the site did correlate willingness to “do it” on a first date with music listening habits. Users of the site – which offers matches based on music taste – were asked to identify their limit on a first date by choosing one of the following statements: “I’d only meet up for a chat,” “Perhaps a kiss” or “I’d go all the way if the mood was right.” Apparently, Coldplay fans were most likely to opt for not getting down, while Nirvana fans, for the record, were totally into screwing people who had been total strangers just hours before. Do with that information what you will.
Team Do It vs. Team Let’s Not, in order, per NME:
Least likely to “go all the way”:
3. Lady Gaga
4. Katy Perry
5. Kings Of Leon
3. Linkin Park
4. Kanye West
