Coldplay, ESPN to promote soccer

Are you ready for some football!! The non-American kind that is, otherwise known as soccer, brought to you by ESPN and Coldplay. The two powerhouses in their respective worlds -- sports coverage and mediocre British music -- have teamed up to promote soccer and the band's new album, Viva la Vida. The marketing campaign will employ Coldplay tunes in promotions for ESPN's coverage of the Euro 2008 soccer tournament this June. Great. Because the world doesn't have enough montages to "Clocks" yet.
