Brian Eno's production seems well suited to Coldplay, if sales are any indication. Accordingly, they've invited the legendary producer to help out with their next album. They're going to return to the studio soon to begin work on it, though no definite dates have been set. Bassist Guy Berryman stated that they've "worked on a few ideas in soundchecks," so expect to hear updates on that new material in the near future. [Contact Music]
Their plan to develop the perfect sleep aid is nearly complete.
Actually, didn't Eno ask to work on some of their new songs before the band did anything? Then i think he asked the band to come in without Martin. I remember this because I thought it particularly strange that Eno would be so voluntarily involved with future Coldplay songs...more so than the actual band was.
ugh, no thanks.
