In keeping with the myriad releases of tour lineups that tend to besiege your autumnal inbox, Cold War Kids are appropriately following suit. Since the release of their debut album, <i>Robbers & Cowards</i> (Downtown Records), in October, California's most recently celebrated soulful indie export has enjoyed much acclaim and has amassed a significant following (largely in part by MTV's magic wand) with the video for "Hang Me up to Dry." The band is beginning the first leg of their fall tour by opening for The White Stripes and is rounding out the year with dates that will further showcase the famed voltaic live performances in some of the States' most laudable venues for up-and-comers.
