Cold War Kids touring, new video release draws nigh
Few bands divided the blogosphere as sharply last year as did Cold War Kids, which enjoyed the hype and inevitable backlash as their album Robbers & Cowards reached more ears. We found it to be somewhere in between the breathless praise that introduced the band to a wider audience and the harsh reviews that tended to focus on the indie-blog process more than the band itself. This week, their single, smugly titled "Hang Me Out to Dry," is Apple's iTunes Single of the Week, and the Kids are finishing up the song's video, directed by the Malloy Brothers.
On their upcoming tour, they'll surely seek to define themselves on their own terms. Dates after the jump.
