Coachella line-up still a work in progress, Coachella head says "we're not stalling"

As you probably know, the Coachella line-up has been rumored to be announced about every day this week, and apparently, the announcement might not happen this week at all. In an interview with the Pop & Hiss blog at the L.A. Times, chief festival architect Paul Tollett said that the organizers are still busy lining up bands for the festival, and that they're not stalling waiting for other bands to sign-on. Here's what Tollet had to say:

“I know everybody is going crazy, but we’re not stalling, we’re still working on the show. Everything we do is in service of the show, not in service of the announcement of the show. Believe me, we’re excited to tell everybody and we want to tell everybody, but the show is still being put together.”
So there you have it. You'll know who's going to be at Coachella once the organizers finally get there stuff together. (I'm betting Jack Johnson wants more cash.) [L.A. Times via Daily Swarm]

Boo Hiss. I want to see the formal announcement of the Orbital, Neutral Milk Hotel and Luna reunions. Oh, and ad Mogwai, Autechre, LCD Soundsystem, Walkmen. Come on already, I'm sick of making up my own lineups!!

Sure they are not stalling, yeah right! The organizer claimed ( by proxy) they are going to release the official line up on radio on Tuesday, they have gone back on their word and their only answer is "we’re still working on the show".

There are two reasonable explanations; either someone really big pulled out at the last minute or they saw the amount of hype created and decided to milk the hype till it's dry.
After the last years ticket sales and the pretty poor/realistic "predictions" for the line-up, I'm not surprised.
