Coachella 2013 Lineup Announced, Featuring The Stone Roses, Blur, Phoenix, The xx And The Postal Service

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines: The hotly awaited lineup has been announced for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. As usual, Goldenvoice has snagged some fantastic artists for what has become the biggest music festival in North America. A brief sampling of acts includes headliners The Stone Roses, Blur, Phoenix and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but what we’re really excited about are the names in smaller print: Local Natives, Japandroids, TNGHT, Jamie xx, Four Tet, Spiritualized, Major Lazer, James Blake and Grimes, among dozens of others. Like 2 Chainz.

Just like last year, Coachella will happen on two weekends in April with the same lineup for both sessions: the 12th through the 14th and the 19th through the 21st. Festival passes will go on sale on Tuesday, January 29th 10am PST. Go to for more details – assuming the site hasn’t crashed – and when the 29th comes, pray it doesn’t sell out too fast.
