Slyvester Stallone has already been talking up the next sequel in The Expendables franchise. There's been a wishlist going around of actors he'd like to appear in The Expendables 3 and Clint Eastwood is one of them.
In an interview with 'Extra', the legendary actor, filmmaker and producer was asked whether he'd appear in the sequel. When asked, it didn't seem that Eastwood even knew he was wanted in the film. He also stated that he's never seen the films nor has he seen any material in the form of a script. And in the end, his answer was an unfortunate "probably not" and that he'd be more "apt to direct something...maybe I'll direct Expendables 3."
At the age of 82, the actor in classic films such as A Fist Full of Dollars, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, Dirty Harry and City Heat - his prescence in The Expendables franchise would be the epitome of bringing in all of the great action stars that have doned their faces and bodies in cinema. But I'm not sure if any form of TRT would be able to get Eastwood to done a pistol one more time.
On top of Eastwood, other actors such as Harrison Ford and Wesley Snipes have been approached to make an appearance in the next segment. Nicholas Cage already seems to be on tap as well.
Eastwood's next film Trouble With The Curve will be releasd nationwide this Friday, September 21, 2012.
