Many reasons to love Clare and her band's debut album
Clare and the Reasons is the band helmed by Clare Muldaur Manchon, an artistic girl with one hell of a pedigree. She's the daughter of prominent folkie Geoff Muldaur. And she's got plenty of famous friends. Those pals show up on Clare and the Reason's debut album The Movie, slated for an October 16 release on Frog Stand Records. Who they be? How about instrumentalist legend Van Dyke Parks, indie It Boy Sufjan Stevens, and Manchon's husband Olivier Manchon, who has also helped out Shara Worden in Our Brightest Diamond. After that name-dropping, you'd be correct to guess that Clare and the Reasons trade in a lush form of orchestral pop.
