Rock & roll legend Chuck Berry decided to see in the New Year by playing a show in Chicago, which was sadly cut short after he collapsed on stage. The concert took place at the Congress Theatre on Jan. 1, and was reportedly ended after he slumped over his keyboard after an hour of the performance had passed.
Strangely, Berry than went off stage, only to return 15 minutes later in an attempt to resume the show, only to be quickly whisked away again to be checked out by paramedics. Ever the consummate performer, Berry made sure to thank his fans for coming before he was taken to hospital after feeling too weak to continue. Here's wishing him a speedy recovery in 2011.
