Chris Brown To Remain On Probation For Rihanna Beating

Yesterday afternoon, a judge declined Chris Brown's request to end his probation for the grisly 2009 beating of his then girlfriend Rihanna. Brown's attorney was asking to shorten Brown's five-year probation sentence that is due to end in 2013, citing Brown's good behavior since being on probation. The judge declined Brown's request however, though he did say Brown has been good since being on probation, but he'll still need to check in with a probation officer in his home state of Virginia for the next two years.
