Chilean Fans Crash Metallica Gates, Cause Huge Riot

If you can understand Spanish, what you’ll hear is that a crowd of 50,000 spectators at a Metallica concert in Santiago, Chile got a little bit more than they bargained for when a group of fans without tickets tried to storm the venue’s gates. What ensued can only be referred to as a military incident, because it involved the “Carbineros,” or militarized police. The force attacked with water cannons, made 120 arrests, and most likely provided the most bitchin’ backdrop for “For Whom The Bell Tolls” of all time. [Blabbermouth]
