French singer and actress Charlotte Gainsbourg (the daughter of iconic French crooner Serge Gainsbourg) is recovering after undergoing minor brain surgery. As scary as that sounds, Gainsbourg is by all reports fine and should be released from the hospital soon. She was stricken by a small hematoma after a waterskiing accident she was involved in here in the U.S. After that incident, Gainsbourg suffered a string of headaches that alerted her that something might be amiss.
Thankfully, life goes on for Gainsbourg. As it does for her fans, who can next catch her acting in and contributing to the soundtrack to the hotly anticipated Bob Dylan biopic I'm Not There.
