“We Made You”
video can strike two names off the list, as Kim Kardashian and “a friend” of Jessica Simpson’s have responded to the clip. Simpson’s friend
told MSNBC
that the star “finds it annoying," but wasn’t unduly bothered as “it's not like she's the only one who was singled out."
Someone with more time on her hands and an awareness that her 15 minutes of fame has just reached the 14:59 mark is Kim Kardashian, who has given a direct quote about the video. On her blog , Kardashian says: “It was a total surprise to me because I had no idea he was going to talk about me in the song. I think this video is so funny! I am a huge Eminem fan and find it flattering that he would rap about me.”
Kardashian’s oversized butt attacks the hip-hop star in the video, although she appears to think she got off lightly, saying Eminem was “a bit harsh about some other celebrities.” The reality TV star even says she is “honored” by her inclusion, although it’s likely to cause plenty of head scratching in the future when people try to recall the name of that ample-assed figure in the “We Made You” video.
