Celebrities Respond to Eminem's "We Made You" Video

Anyone still counting the amount of celebrities dissed in Eminem’s “We Made You” video can strike two names off the list, as Kim Kardashian and “a friend” of Jessica Simpson’s have responded to the clip. Simpson’s friend told MSNBC that the star “finds it annoying," but wasn’t unduly bothered as “it's not like she's the only one who was singled out."

Someone with more time on her hands and an awareness that her 15 minutes of fame has just reached the 14:59 mark is Kim Kardashian, who has given a direct quote about the video. On her blog , Kardashian says: “It was a total surprise to me because I had no idea he was going to talk about me in the song. I think this video is so funny! I am a huge Eminem fan and find it flattering that he would rap about me.”

Kardashian’s oversized butt attacks the hip-hop star in the video, although she appears to think she got off lightly, saying Eminem was “a bit harsh about some other celebrities.” The reality TV star even says she is “honored” by her inclusion, although it’s likely to cause plenty of head scratching in the future when people try to recall the name of that ample-assed figure in the “We Made You” video. I still think it's weird when he goes at celebrities.

It's an attempted distraction from how awful the song is.

The song wasn't really that bad if you remember how weird The Real Slim Shady sounded when it first came out. And I really think that Kim Kardashian will really be remembered for her porno and not for an Eminem video. Just a thought.

yeah, the song's not good.

The song isn't anything special, ESPECIALLY compared to the old Em (Marshall Mathers LP). Either way, it sounds like he's a bit out of touch with reality -- with how other people live, and the kinds of things the public likes right now. And Kim Kardashian isn't very in-touch either obviously, that's why she loved it. It's two people who aren't in touch, period.

*cries* I hoped when/ if Eminem came back it would be more like some of his old stuff...Encore had at least a few real songs.
this new song really sucks as a song, its a great and hilarious video though. He could be doing so much more than going after celebrities....I liked it better when he was really saying something in his music...guess he ran out of real stuff to say.

listen to the rest of the cd, i bet it will be good. Em always makes a funny, racy, dumb song on every cd to mock and make people laugh but the rest of the cd's in the past is actually well crafted and show's talent.lol, if you dont believe me just check out his cd when it drops.

i don't care if it makes no real comment on the world, its a fun song, and quite frankly easy to get into, as far as i'm concerned thats all musicians/rappers should be doing in their songs.

Who says a song must have some political agenda to be good?

To be honest i'm sick and tired of celebrities and what-nots commenting on the world in their music, what the world needs from its musicians is not their political views, but just plain good music that is fun, light hearted and can take people away from the reality that is "swine flu" and the "GFC" and all the rest of the bulls--t that anyone and everyone can make a mountain out of a mole hill of.
