The UK's XL Records has announced that Radiohead's "In Rainbows" will be released on the last day of 2007. The announcement comes after months of speculation, first over which labels would distribute the record and then over the date the actual album would arrive in stores. The December 31 release date in the UK has lead some industry analysts to speculate about New Years Day 2008 release of the album in the United States. ATO Records, who is handling the distribution of the album state-side has not announced a date for the release. XL Records also announced a January 14th, 2008 release date for the record's first UK single, "Jigsaw Falling Into Place."
