Although there's still no concrete word on performers for this year's slate of free Sunday concerts at McCarren Pool in Brooklyn, we do know that at least one high profile show will hit the renovated venue. For cash, most likely, but the July 7th double bill of Cat Power and Built To Spill will attract affluent indie types a plenty.
Broke music lovers take heart, when the line-up for the free gigs becomes available we will absolutely let you know.ÂÂ It will take some doing to outdo last year's batch which included afternoon performances by Of Montreal, Deerhoof, Les Savy Fav, and many others.
