FREE! Cat Power Live in Berlin MP3s

I downloaded MP3s for a 1999 Cat Power show at Western Washington University a few weeks back, and it got a good number of listens on my iTunes. I know that years ago she had the reputaton for being a wreck live, but in my experiences (the live MP3s I've downloaded and the Halloween show I saw a few years ago at Bowery Ballroom), she's been amazing. In continuing in our efforts to scour the Web for free goodies, we found a twenty-one-song set at Rbally (via: LHB).
The track that really caught my eye was a cover of Smokey Robinson's "Tears of a Clown," although it turned out to actually be "The Tracks of My Tears." Listen to the stream below. What do you think of it?

Not bad at all, some of the songs are a little twanny for me, almost county, but I really dig the rest. I like how she plays with audience, like on ''"Who knows where the time goes''" She really does have a beautiful voice and her songs seem to bring a wide range of images to my mind. I bet she is one of those people that would be great to sit and chill with till 3 in the morn. Very cool find.

ahhhhhhhhhh....too late, missed em. I would love me some live Cat Power tracks.
