New Cat Power covers record tracklist, album art

No, it won't be called The Covers Record II: Electric Boogaloo. Chan Marshall's next collection of mostly other artists' songs will go by the name of Jukebox. It's scheduled for a January 22 release via Matador. Among the songs Marshall will make her own are the Creedence Clearwater Revival classic "Fortunate Son," Bob Dylan's "I Believe in You" (which isn't the same Dylan track she's doing for the I'm Not There soundtrack), and James Brown's "Lost Someone." A couple of Cat Power originals appear as well: a new version of "Metal Heart," a song that also appeared on Moon Pix, and "Song for Bobby" (take one guess which Bob(by) she's alluding to). Follow on after the jump for full tracklist details...

I'm actually really pissed she don't bother to record a full cover of Cat Stevens' "How Can I Tell You" and she didn't include her cover of Blondie's "Hanging On The Telephone." Jeez, why do covers for commercials if you're not gonna include them on your covers album, Chan?
