Cat Power European Tour Is Still On!

Earlier this week, Cat Powerposted a concerning note about the possibility of cancelling her European tour due to health and financial issues. However, according to Pitchfork (and confirmed by Chan Marshall's Twitter), the tour is still happening. Of course, not without sacrifices: "WITHOUT STAGE PRESENTATION. HARD MONEY WASTED. #GOODBYE #GORILLA." Does this refer to the giant gorilla head backdrop that accompanied her previous stage shows? Gorilla or no gorilla, the show marches on. Great day for European fans (regular day for the rest of us).
