Carmelo Anthony Curates Mixtape with Ghostface, Nas, Bun B & More

Here's a kind of interesting project that seemingly came out of nowhere -- at least, it did for me as I hadn't heard much about it until it was posted today. But Carmelo Anthony has apparently curated the Become Legendary mixtape to coincide with the release of his seventh shoe, the Melo M7s. And the Nuggets star linked with Krossover Entertainment to get a pretty slick lineup offering more than 20 exclusive tracks featuring the likes of Bun B, Nas, Styles P, Ghostface Killah, and Big Sean, along with some relatively unknown MCs. Most enticing here is GFK's track as it features Sheek Louch, Diego Cash, and Bully and it could serve as a preview of the rumored Wu-Tang/D-Block album.

Download the mixtape below. Underneath the link is the tape's track list.

curious, indeed. how do you think they did this: did he send them a "wish list?" or did the company give him a list of artists/tracks that he picked from?

Good question...maybe the latter?
